..::Reality CHECK::..

Not everyone is your friend!

I am slowly but surely learning this lesson in life. I am always ready to make a friend, but I am noticing that everyone is not as open as I am, so I came up with some advice that I have started to apply and it has worked thus far, so I thought id share it with you guys.

First, face the reality. There are some people in the world, for some reason or another, who simply werent brought up to be friendly. Its not their fault, but somewhere in their upbringing, their parents or caretakers simply didnt teach them that. Dont continue to get burned by someone, realize who your true friends are and surround yourself with them and, as for the rest of them,  apply my dads favorite line "well you know what confucius said" hahahah

Next, dont feed into their ignorance. Listen to them (or for the ones who dont say it to your face, simply take in the information from your sources) and stay calm. Retaliation is so juvenile, so instead of getting your blood pressure up, just stay calm and forget about them. Apply the lesson of Janice Dickinson and simply say (in your mind) "You're dead in my book" or if you want to tweet about it (slightly #messy but fun) #YDIMB hahah
But most importantly, KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS! Nothing bothers your enemy more than a smile. That doesnt mean you have to go out of your way to speak or do things for them, simply a smile or a small convo does the job. Another great idea when handling enemies is apply the Sand Paper quote from the moving FIGHTING TEMPTATIONS.  "when life makes you deal with mean and hateful people think of them as sand paper they may scratch you they may rub you in the wrong way but eventually you will polished and smooth and the sandpaper will be worn and ugly"

ALWAYS REMEMBER....your friends and family, not your enemies, make your life better...everyone else is insignificant :D so stay cool, stay fresh and DO YOU!
