Dress like an Exec, pay like an intern

We all love looking good, but can we always afford to do so? YES!

As I prepare to enter my 20's I find my style developing more and more into a professional attire, however my wallet is still that of a college student, so what do I do? GET CREATIVE

Looking fly in your suit doesnt require you stepping out in the most expensive designer suit. Here are a few executive looks that you can get on your student budget.

Step out in this grey suit and turn heads while still keeping your wallet full. This wool blend suit by Topman is only $200 off the rack.

Gotta love this whipcord suit. Its getting warm outside, so put the wool suit towards the back of the closet and pull out your lighter fabrics like whipcord. The suit gives you a seersucker feel with a modern fabric. This sizzling summertime suit is by Uniqulo for only $120.

And the ultimate summer/fall suit is a light khaki suit that can be worn separately for a more casual look or together for a fashion forward executive look. This great necessity suit is available at H&M for only $
$179.

No matter how much you pay for your suit, remember, in order to give your suit that EXECUTIVE LOOK, visit a tailor and get it altered just for you. Some common alterations include, getting the torso of the jacket taken in to fit your body (AVOID THE BOXY LOOK), getting the legs taken up (AVOID THE BAGGY LOOK) and getting the sleeves taken up (AVOID THE LONG ARMS). If you are trying to go for a more modern/fashion forward look, try narrowing the arms and legs of the suit. This gives a more European fit and it flattering for most body types.
